How MagSnow Was Born

I’ve been snowboarding for years, and one thing always annoyed me… scraping ice off my bindings with cold hands... and because I’m clumsy, I always end up getting snow inside my gloves.

Hi! I’m Andrew, a mechanical engineer who's worked in aerospace & semiconductor industries. I love building things that actually solve problems, and I love snowboarding! 

I always wondered if there was a way to magnetically attach a scraper to your snowboard... That led to countless prototypes, endless magnet experiments, and a lot of failures. But each version got me closer.

Every detail of MagSnow: Scrape + Go was intentionally engineered, from the stomp pad shape that guides the scraper in naturally, to the way the scraper releases cleanly from strong magnets. Designed for riding in the most extreme conditions, I picked the best quality materials that are both durable in the cold and gentle on your snowboard.

I build and assemble everything at home. No big team. No corporate budget. Just me, trying to make snowboarding a little easier for snowboarders like us.
